Debuting in 2010, Red Deer Fest is making a name for itself as Brisbane’s must attend event of the year. Red Deer is Brisbane’s only BYO music and camping festival and it is dedicated to giving local bands and festival goers a fresh and honest alternative to mainstream and over commercialised festivals.
Situated in a natural amphitheater, beneath the rolling mountains of the pristine D’Aguilar range just outside of Samford on the North side of Brisbane, this boutique 24-hour music and camping festival is like no other.
After tasting huge success in 2010 and 2011, the organising committee is very excited to announce the return of Red Deer in mid-2012. Due to popular demand Red Deer will expand the festival size a further 50%, increasing patron numbers to a cap of 800, while maintaining the intimate, relaxed vibes of previous years. There will once again be a great variety of local and national talented musicians plus cultural performers and comedy skits. Red Deer will provide improved facilities, a larger range of food vendors and more camping grounds.
