This year Parklife Sydney moves from Kippax Lake to a lush, tree-lined location deep inside Centennial Park. The new location encompasses Loch Ave South and Brazilian Fields and has beautiful rolling slopes dotted with Moreton Bay figs and a variety of other trees.
Fuzzy Director John Wall is thrilled to be moving Parklife Sydney to this unique location in 2012. “Parklife started its life deep inside Centennial Park and while Kippax lake has been a great venue for the last 8 years,” shares Wall, “we’ve been itching to move back inside the Park for a while, so we’re very excited not only to be there but right next to the original Parklife 2000 venue.”
Parklife’s picturesque new Sydney home will excite even the most veteran of festival fans as it is a first for the spot. “It’s a layout that
hasn’t been used for a festival before,” Wall enthuses, “and we think everyone will really love it.”
Parklife acknowledges the Gadigal clan as the traditional custodians of the land on which Centennial Parklands has been constructed.
