Eclipse2012 First Round Act Announcements
Eclipse2012 – A cosmic gathering of heavenly proportions!
Eclipse2012 – the total solar eclipse festival to be held north of Cairns, Australia in November has been a hot topic of discussion for several years now.
The management team behind the massive seven day music and arts festival, which includes key members from renowned global events such as Rainbow Serpent Festival (Australia), Symbiosis Festival (USA) and Glade Festival (UK), have been taking their time locking down some big names but finally the wait is over with the first round of act announcements having just been released.
From what festival Marketing Director Tim Harvey has told us, this is just the beginning of what will be a huge and diverse line-up. “We’re looking at minimum of 4 stages covering trance, techno, broken beats, chill, roots, reggae and gypsy. The list of both international and Australian acts is simply gigantic” he says. “While this first release is somewhat trance heavy, the next few releases will really show how diverse the line-up is going to be and will definitely please the techno fans out there.”
