Festival Director Peter Noble comments:
“We have found there is an incredible interest in our Early Bird and ‘Time to Pay’ tickets from our ticket buying public. Well known events like US based Coachella Music Festival is not the only Festival that goes on sale many months out, Bluesfest does it too.
People like to plan their trip to Bluesfest early each year, getting their accommodation booked, taking advantage of the great Early Bird ticket deal and having the opportunity to pay off their tickets in 5 months. By the time the tickets are paid off, the 1st artist announcement will have hit the streets and ticket prices will have increased significantly.
As always we are completely dedicated to the ideal that Bluesfest is not simply another multi-day event full of bands and crowds.
It is an annual gathering of curious music fans, artists, travelers and locals. During the course of the festival friendships are made and longtime ones renewed, people from around the corner meet with those from the other side of the globe and first-timers fall in love with Bluesfest and Byron Bay.
My humble thanks go out to our festival goers for once again placing their trust in us, as they do each year, to deliver a stellar array of artists for Bluesfest 2013. Judging from who is already on offer, we are on track to deliver a formidable line-up for Bluesfest 2013 – it really is looking like possibly our best bill yet!”
