Sydney Film Festival screens feature films, documentaries & short films every June.
Sydney Film Festival is one of the longest running film festivals in the world screening feature films, documentaries & short films across two weeks every winter.
Each year the festival brings the best new films from around the world to audiences right here in Sydney. As well as brand new features from over forty countries, we screen short films, Australian films, documentaries and archive titles, many of which are recently restored.
The festival hosts a number of awards to recognise excellence in filmmaking, including the FOXTEL Australian Documentary Award, the Dendy Awards for Australian Short Films and the Official Competition, which celebrates ‘courageous and audacious filmmaking’

SYDNEY FILM FESTIVAL LOCATION
The Sydney Travelling Film Festival (TFF) is a showcase of Australian and international features, documentaries and short films screening in areas which have limited theatrical screening opportunities. The TFF currently tours to 15 locations annually, screening in the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales.
